PHOTONEWS:Owerri women protest against the relocation of Eke-Ukwu market

According to Imo State Blog, covered that a large number of women, dress in black attires, gathered early on Thursday morning in the state capital, Owerri to protest against the relocation of Eke-Ukwu Owerri to Egbeada. Egbeada is in Mbaitolu LGA.

The decision of the Imo state government to relocate this popular market has been met with mixed reactions but speaking with journalists recently, Governor Okorocha said that even though the market is an ancestral market, its present location was wrong.
